The RCVS Mind Matters Initiative (MMI) is inviting veterinary professionals to attend a free evening webinar exploring how mood and mental health difficulties can present at work – and what colleagues can realistically do to help.
With high levels of stress and burnout still reported across the profession, the session aims to support teams in recognising concerns early and responding appropriately within a workplace setting.
Free webinar: Work, mental health and mood
The webinar, “Work, mental health and mood”, takes place on Monday 30 March, 6.30pm to 7.45pm and is free to attend.
It will focus on how mood and affective disorders like bipolar and depression may present in veterinary workplaces, how to support colleagues experiencing difficulties, and how to reduce stigma around mental ill health. The session will also cover appropriate signposting to further support.
Speakers include:
- Clinical psychologist Dr Marco Vivolo
- Veterinary mental health researcher James Glass MRCVS
- Wellbeing instructor Emma Sadler RVN
Together, they bring clinical, research and profession-specific perspectives to the discussion.
The webinar is open to everyone in the veterinary community and can be booked here: MMI: Work, Mental Health and Mood Webinar - Professionals
