Wounds are a frequent occurrence in clinical practice making veterinary wound care training essential for both vets and nurses. This course provides an up-to-date refresher on evolving techniques and technologies, covering key topics such as wound healing physiology, wound bed preparation, closure options, dressing selection, and bandaging methods.
Combining classroom-based discussions with hands-on practice using simulated wounds, participants will develop evidence-based skills in moisture-balanced wound bed preparation, dressing selection, and case management. The course is designed to enhance confidence in managing both acute and chronic wounds while optimising healing outcomes.
This course provides delegates with 6 hours of face-to-face veterinary wound management CPD towards your annual requirements.
Lunch, refreshments and digital course notes will be provided.
