Price From £1,799.00 + VAT

This course is designed to equip you with the skills to manage orthopaedic trauma in cats, with a focus on the key anatomical differences between feline and canine patients.

You'll cover:

  • Pelvic fractures including ilial shaft fractures and sacro-iliac separation
  • Humeral fractures
  • Tibial fractures
  • Femoral fractures
  • Radius\ulna fractures
  • Metacarpal fractures

This course will be predominantly practical with lectures to highlight important points. Pre- and post-op radiographs will be used to aid planning and review of surgeries. Reading and assimilation of pre-course material is essential to get the most from this course and time to do this will need to be set aside prior to attending.

You should have a solid understanding of the principles of fracture fixation, lag screw fixation, surgical approaches and orthopaedic surgical techniques. This is not a basic course.

Digital course notes provided.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.

Day 1: 09:00 AM to 04:30 PM | Day 2: 09:00 AM to 04:30 PM
