This course is designed for veterinary surgeons with an intermediate understanding of abdominal ultrasound and is the perfect progression from our two-day introductory programme.
You’ll revisit machine setup, refine your ability to recognise common artefacts, and learn how to perform a basic Doppler examination. Through case-based discussions and hands-on practical sessions, you’ll explore the ultrasonographic appearance of frequently encountered abnormalities, helping you develop greater confidence and accuracy in your scans.
The course also includes tuition in ultrasound-guided biopsy and aspiration techniques to further expand your clinical toolkit.
Digital course notes, lunch, and refreshments are included. Delegate numbers are capped at nine to ensure personalised guidance, ample scanning time, and focused support from your tutor.
