Improve Veterinary Education, a global leader in postgraduate veterinary training, has announced an exciting new partnership with Probo Veterinary and Mindray Animal Medical to enhance the quality and reach of its veterinary imaging courses.

Through this collaboration, Improve Veterinary Education has invested in the Mindray Vetus Range, including the Vetus 80 ultrasound machines, setting a new benchmark for practical training in veterinary imaging. These state-of-the-art machines will now feature across Improve Veterinary Education’s imaging programmes in the UK, with a view to implementing them globally - bringing a consistent, premium learning experience to veterinary professionals everywhere.

Martin Corr, Operations Director at Improve Veterinary Education, commented: “This partnership represents a major step forward in the quality of imaging courses we can deliver. By integrating Mindray’s high-quality ultrasound Vetus range into our training, we are not only providing cutting-edge technology but also enhanced teaching tools that create a much richer, hands-on learning experience for veterinary professionals.”

The Vetus 80 offers advanced capabilities, including exotic species scanning and UWN+ contrast imaging technology. This innovation allows detection of both second harmonic and non-linear fundamental signals, producing significantly enhanced images with greater sensitivity and improved diagnostic confidence, an invaluable asset for vets working across a wide spectrum of cases.

Mindray Animal Medical, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Mindray Group, serving over 100+ countries and regions globally and widely recognised by global top-tier institutions including Schwarman Animal Medical Center, Royal Veterinary College, Centre Hospitalier Vétérinaire Frégis etc., is dedicated to developing advanced medical devices and comprehensive solutions for animals, with a mission to improve access to high-quality care for companion animals, equines, farm animals, and exotics.

Probo Veterinary, a leading provider of veterinary diagnostic imaging equipment and support, will play a crucial role in supplying and servicing the ultrasound units to ensure a seamless experience for Improve Veterinary Education’s delegates.
This partnership creates a global opportunity to integrate the latest ultrasound technology into Improve Veterinary Education’s training centres across multiple countries, empowering veterinary professionals with the tools and expertise they need to improve patient care and expand their diagnostic capabilities.
