Registration is open for the British Veterinary Dental Association (BVDA) annual congress, which will be held in London on the 27th and 28th of February 2026.

The congress runs over two days and has two streams - 'essential' and 'advanced' - perfect for the developing GP through to the veterinary dentistry certificate holder or those working towards their Advanced Certificate.

Lecture highlights from the Essential stream include "Dental Extractions in Rabbits and Small Mammals" by Ashton Hollwarth and "Digging Deep - Top Tips For Root Tips" by Rachel Perry. Meanwhile, those in the Advanced stream can enjoy "How to Build a 3D Printing Lab for Surgical Planning" by Javier Sanz, and "How to Obtain Perfect Obturation of the Tooth During Endodontic Treatment" by Jerzy Gawor.

The keynote, held on the Friday afternoon, is "Anaesthesia Considerations for Brachycephalics" by Fran Downing, and delegates are also treated to an ethics panel, podcast 'Pulp (non)Fiction' Live, and the BVDA AGM.

Costs for non-members are £200 per day. The full congress programme can be found here and delegates can register here.
