BVNA announces online behaviour webinars in February

The BVNA has announced a series of three webinars about stress in practice running online throughout February. The series is titled "Stress in Cats, Dogs and People" and covers stress, anxiety, and are sponsored by Ceva.

Webinar One: Doggone it, it’s a Stressful Life for our Canine Friends….

This webinar is presented by Nikki McLeod and covers fear, anxiety, and stress in dogs, with particular reference to trigger points in the veterinary practice. Nikki covers the ways that canine stress can make our jobs so much harder, and ways to work with caregivers to help reduce canine anxiety in the practice.

Webinar Two: Cat Stress in Practice – Finding Solutions to Improve Patient Experience

The second webinar in the series is from Alex Taylor, the Cat Wellbeing and Behaviour Advisor at International Cat Care. She'll cover the behaviour of cats, and how the veterinary clinic can impact this. She'll give tips for how VNs can adapt the clinic environment and protocols to reduce fear and stress in our feline friends.

Webinar Three: Let’s Talk Human Stress in Practice

It’s ideal for veterinary nurses looking to improve their personal resilience and support colleagues.
