Boehringer Ingelheim launches new 12ml bottle of Senvelgo for feline diabetes

Boehringer Ingelheim has announced that Senvelgo, the once-daily oral solution for feline diabetes, is now available in a 12ml bottle, alongside the original 30ml bottle across Great Britain, Ireland and Northern Ireland.

This new smaller size is designed to help more suitable diabetic cats begin their treatment journey with confidence. The smaller size:

• Offers a lower initial financial commitment for owners
• Ideal for newly diagnosed cats – lasts approximately one month for a 5kg cat
• Reduces concerns about waste if treatment needs to be adjusted

Both bottle sizes come with a 3-year shelf life from manufacture, making it easier for practices to keep stock on the shelf ready for suitable cases. With simple once-daily oral dosing, no need for glucose curves, and no risk of symptomatic hypoglycaemia, it’s a game-changer for suitable cats and their owners. Further:
