We are (still) here for you!
COVID-19 Safety Measures
During the coronavirus pandemic, Improve International has continued working to bring you high quality veterinary continuing education safely. We have offered alternative approaches to learning while also preparing to resume our face to face courses as soon as possible.
Safety first – ensuring that our delegates, speakers and staff are fully protected has been our priority since the outset. We have been following government and health authority guidelines closely and are now looking forward to returning with the necessary protective measures in place.
In September 2020, the latest versions of our world-class annual training programs will get underway and we want you to feel confident that we have everything in hand to provide you with an outstanding learning experience in a safe environment.
Check out some of the protective measures we have introduced below:
- Special enrolment conditions: We are living in uncertain times and want you to feel able to book a place on one of our programs without taking a significant financial risk. You can now:
- Pre-book with just a 10%, fully refundable, deposit.
- Receive a full refund up to one month before the start of the program should your circumstances change.
- Hands-on modules: The development of practical skills is critical in veterinary medicine. To secure this element of our training, we have instigated a range of hygiene protocols, including the regular disinfection of all spaces and the provision of extra personal protective equipment for all of our delegates, including:
- Facemasks
- Gloves
- Safety glasses or face shields
- Disposable gowns
Should physical attendance at a course become impossible because of new restrictions on group gatherings or social distancing, these modules will be rescheduled for the earliest possible date.
- Lecture sessions : During attendance at on-site courses, delegates can be reassured that all necessary safety measures will be taken. Delegates will receive facemasks and hand sanitizer will be available at all times. We are paying special attention to the way we organize our coffee breaks and/or lunches in accordance with government guidance.
All live sessions will be streamed online should physical attendance become impossible. Using the latest webcasting technology, speakers will still provide engaging and interactive sessions with plenty of time for questions and discussion. This has already proved to be a very effective way to ensure our delegates have continued to learn during the pandemic.
