Overview

Course Aims:

This 2- day course aims to provide comprehensive training in endoscopic equipment and techniques, focusing on rhinoscopy, nasopharynx examination, laryngoscopy, and tracheo-bronchoscopy. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the operation, handling, and maintenance of endoscopy equipment, alongside mastering the practical skills needed for these specific procedures.

Day one - Equipment, Rhinoscopy, Nasopharynx:

Theoritical sessions:

3. Rhinoscopy

b. Patient preparation

c. Anatomy and technique

d. Normal Aspect

e. Pathologies

f. Interventional procedures

4. Nasopharynx 

a. Anatomy and technique

d. Interventional procedures

Practical sessions:

1. Equipment demonstration and dry lab on models (rigid and flexibles scopes)

2. Rhinoscopy on cadavers of different sizes

 

Day two - Laryngoscopy, Tracheo-bronchoscopy:

1. Nasopharyngeal and laryngeal examination on cadavers

2. Bronchoscopy on models and cadavers
