Overview

Course Aims:

The course aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in gastrointestinal endoscopy. Beginning with an introduction to endoscopy equipment, the program covers patient preparation, anesthesia considerations, and the nuances of endoscopic technique. Participants will learn to identify normal gastrointestinal aspects and distinguish major pathologies across the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, and lower gastrointestinal tract. The curriculum emphasizes interventional techniques and complication management, ensuring proficiency in therapeutic procedures. Practical sessions, including equipment demonstrations, dry module trials, and live case trials, provide hands-on experience, particularly focusing on upper gastrointestinal cases. By the end of the course, attendees will be adept in endoscopic practice, poised to apply their skills effectively in clinical settings.

Note: Day 1 will be at GSG ACADEMY & Day 2 will be at Al Wasl Veterinary Clinic for the practical live cases.
