Online Easter Hunt Raises over €1,500 For Local Charities
Over the Easter period, Improve Veterinary Education raised over €1,500 in support of local charities across six countries.
Veterinary professionals were encouraged to find Easter bunnies hidden across Improve Veterinary Education’s website between 7-12 April 2023. With each digital rabbit found, either £1, 1€ or 10DKK was donated, depending on the country.
The charities chosen were:
- UK: VetLife
- France: La SPA
- Germany: Zuflucht für Tiere
- Portugal: Midas & NAAAS
- Spain: ANAA
- Denmark: World Veterinary Service
These organisations were specifically chosen for each of its efforts to support veterinary professionals, such as VetLife’s work on improving veterinary mental health, or improving animal welfare, including Zuflucht für Tiere in Germany which provides animal sanctuaries.
