Improve Veterinary Education and Dr Scott Miller join forces to help animal charities
The Christmas season is a time when we reflect and think of how we can make a difference in the lives of others, so our focus this month will be helping the others. We’re excited to share our latest initiative aimed at helping animal charities. This year, we have partnered with Dr. Scott Miller, our Brand Ambassador, to launch a charity campaign that aims to collect essential supplies for local animal charities: Dogs Trust and Cotswolds RSPCA.
Our partnership with Dr. Scott Miller
Dr. Scott Miller is not only a veterinary surgeon but also a passionate advocate for animal welfare. His commitment to improving the lives of animals extends beyond the clinic, and we are proud to have him as our Brand Ambassador for this campaign. With his expertise and genuine love for animals, Dr. Miller brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help raise awareness of the needs of local animal charities during the holiday season.
The importance of giving back
The holiday season is often characterised by giving and sharing, animal charities play a crucial role in caring for abandoned, abused, and neglected animals. However, they face constant challenges, including limited funding, insufficient supplies, and the overwhelming number of animals arriving at their doors.
In the second week of December, our team, alongside Dr. Scott Miller, had the privilege of visiting the Cotswolds RSPCA. We donated £1,000 to help support the Cotswolds RSPCA and delivered the first batch of donations collected from our Christmas campaign! Also, we spent a wonderful day volunteering, cleaning kennels, playing with cats, and spreading some much-needed holiday cheer. To donate directly, please follow this link: DONATE Cotswolds RSPCA.
Our visit was not only a rewarding experience but also an opportunity to highlight the incredible work done by animal shelters. We witnessed firsthand the dedication and compassion of the staff, and the impact they make on the lives of countless animals.
By donating essential supplies, we can help ensure that these animal charities can continue their invaluable work. Animals in shelters often rely on the generosity of the community to receive the basic necessities they need to thrive while waiting for their forever homes. This campaign is an opportunity for all of us to come together and show that we care about the welfare of animals.
The campaign
Our campaign is centered around gathering essential supplies that will directly benefit the charities Dogs Trust and Cotswolds RSPCA. Here’s a list of some of the items we are hoping to collect:
- Pet Food: donations of both wet and dry food are welcome;
- Hygiene Products: items such as shampoos, grooming tools, and cleaning supplies;
- Toys;
- Pet Accessories: blankets, leashes, collars, and bedding.
Every little bit helps, and no donation is too small!
How to Participate?
You can make a meaningful contribution by donating the items mentioned above. You can also involve your friends, family, and colleagues to make it a community effort.
Drop off location at our office:
Ground Floor, Delta 1200 Welton Road, Delta Business Park, Swindon
We will be accepting donations during business hours (8 a.m. until to 5 p.m.) up to 31st January.
If you’re unable to donate physical items, consider directly making a monetary contribution to these animal charities. These funds can be used to purchase necessary items and provide veterinary care for the animals.
This campaign isn’t just about the holiday season, it’s about creating a lasting impact on the lives of these animals. Every donation directly contributes to their care, and by raising awareness, we can also encourage others to take action in support of animal welfare.
