Take your nursing to the next level, specifically aimed at nurses who have completed our Schedule 3 Surgery course.
This course will give you the opportunity to fine-tune your surgical skills and advanced practical nursing techniques in our wet lab facility. You will review and revise procedures such as ear tip amputation, biopsy and wound closure on cadavers. Plus, placement and management of tubes, drains and catheters.
Digital course notes, lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Revisit/revise practical surgical procedures (biopsy lumps, remove skin lumps, amputate tails, ear tip amputation, digit amputation, aural haematomas)
Central venous catheter placement and management
Naso-oesophageal and nasogastric feeding tube placement
Placement and insertion of intra-osseous needles
Urinary catheter placement (male and female)
