A laparoscopic tower is now commonly found in many veterinary practices and laparoscopic bitch spay would be considered a core procedure, that is sought out by clients and the main reason for investing in this equipment. Now considered a routine procedure that is done on a regular basis, it will offer the best return on investment, for the practice.
This two-day, wet-lab course is aimed at surgeons with no or minimal experience in laparoscopy who wish to maximise the use of this equipment and improve their skills in laparoscopy.
During the practical session you will have the opportunity to carry out the full laparoscopic spay procedure, with an individual cadaver for each delegate and leave with the confidence to carry out this procedure in your practice.
You will also gain knowledge and practical experience in carrying out a range of useful minimally invasive surgical procedures, including biopsy, gastropexy, foreign body removal and cystoscopy.
This course offers the opportunity to bring a Veterinary Nurse to learn set up, care and maintenance of the laparoscopic equipment. Please ask for further information at time of booking.
Digital course notes, refreshments, and lunch are provided.
