What are the Eligibility Criteria?
If you wish to enrol on this programme, it is strongly advised that you have 5 years prior experience within practice as a qualified veterinary surgeon and must hold either the ISVPS General Practitioner Certificate (GPCert) or Postgraduate Certificate (PgC) in Dentistry and Oral Surgery or an equivalent dentistry postgraduate certificate from another provider. You will be required to upload your certificate in order for your eligibility to be confirmed. If you do not hold a GPCert or PgC but have substantial experience (we advised 5 years or over) in dentistry gained in practice, you may apply, but you will need to upload a current CV, a letter outlining your previous experience, plus a recommendation from a peer (registered veterinary surgeon).

Our Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery Advanced programme offers you a comprehensive range of structured learning. The course will give you new knowledge and skills to take back to practice, and you can work towards a recognised qualification. Our advanced programmes are not only for those who have gained a previous qualification, such as an ISVPS General Practitioner Certificate, a Postgraduate Certificate by Harper Adams University, or an equivalent but are also suited for experienced professionals wanting to advance their small animal dentistry and oral surgery knowledge.

The fees include ALL registration and exam fees to achieve a GPAdvCert from ISVPS.
Payment Terms & Conditions
1. A non-refundable initial payment is due on registration. Initial payments can be paid by cheque, credit card or bank transfer.
2. Full payment to be made by BACS, card or cheque within 30 days of the deposit payment in order to be eligible for the discounted rate.
3. Direct debit plans are administered and collected on our behalf by Animal Healthcare Limited.

5. If paying by direct debit we must receive the first payment prior to the course commencing.
6. You will be charged VAT by default. If you are part of an EU country outside of the UK and you have a valid intra-community VAT number the invoice will be exempt of VAT.

Find out more- It is recommended that all delegates have at least 5 years prior experience within practice prior to enrolling onto the programme.
- Delegates must either hold the ISVPS GPCert , PgC in Dentistry and Oral Surgery or an equivalent Dentistry post graduate certificate from another provider. Delegates will be required to upload their qualification certificate at the time of booking.OR
- To avoid excluding those practitioners who may not hold a GPCert or PgC, but do have substantial experience in dentistry gained over 5 years in practice - these individuals may apply but would need to upload a current CV, a letter outlining their previous experience, stating why the course is suitable for them and how it will be of use to them in practice, plus a recommendation from a peer (who must be a registered vet)

Will there be any additional costs involved?
The examination fee is included in the full course price however those delegates that require to resist any part of the assessments will be subject to additional assessment fees which are paid directly to ISVPS. Delegates will also be provided with a suggested reading list where there may be additional cost of books and articles depending on the individual preferences.
If attending an attendance programme, travel and accommodation fees will also be applicable. We suggest ensuring that your travel and accommodation reservations are always refundable for unforeseen situations. We try our best not to cancel or move dates, however there may be times when speakers are unable to attend at short notice. If we need to change dates, we will notify delegates at the earliest opportunity and do our best to replace and or reschedule.
