This course will look at the surgical interventions necessary to manage acute abdominal presentations such as GDV, septic peritonitis, intestinal obstruction, haemoabdomen, and urethral obstruction in canine and feline patients.
Decision making and stabilisation will be outlined, followed by discussion of specific surgical procedures.
Presentations will be supplemented with extensive time in the wet lab, to gain hands-on familiarisation with the techniques.
Digital course notes, lunch, and refreshments will be provided.
