Contract from the Animal Plant and Health Agency (APHA)

Improve won a contract from the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories Agency, now called the Animal Plant and Health Agency (APHA), for the training and revalidation of Official Veterinarians (OVs) in England, Scotland and Wales.

OVs are the vets who carry out work on behalf of the Government, such as disease surveillance and monitoring the import and export of animals.  As part of the contract, it has created a new OV website and database.  It has also developed training modules for the new OV qualifications.
