This course covers key corneal surgery techniques such as superficial keratectomy, conjunctival grafts, foreign body removal, and corneoconjunctival transpositions. Participants will learn the theoretical background, including surgical indications, equipment (magnification tools, microsurgical instruments), and post-surgical care. The practical session offers hands-on experience using loupes and microscopes, practicing suturing, and performing surgeries on simulation models or cadaveric eyes. The course also addresses common complications and troubleshooting techniques, providing participants with the skills to confidently perform corneal surgeries in their veterinary practice.
